The kids’ playroom is that place in the house which is usually a nightmare for parents to clean due to the clutter. If you want to conquer the never-ending chaos, then take a look at these clever organization ideas for your kids’ playroom
- Keep it simple
Simplicity rules when it comes to your child’s playroom organization. Keep it decluttered. Go through the room once in awhile to get rid of old or broken items that the kids no longer need. Every season works well for us as the children grow and their interests change.
- Label with pictures
If your children are too young to read, you can label their storage containers using pictures. Including some words with the pictures is a great way to help them learn. Print the labels on address label stickers then stick to the container using clear packing tape. Labeling helps them to get the toys they require easily as well as teaches them where to put them when they are finished.
- Skip the toy box
Using a toy box may sound like a great idea but, in reality, they are a guaranteed way for kids not to play with all their toys. In fact most kids will just use the toy box as a dumping ground for broken toys. Worse still, they’ll make a huge mess to play with one specific toy and ignore the rest. Toys that are able to brake easily will be crushed under the weight of the others.
- Use see-through storage container
Kids can get any room messy while looking for a specific toy in a pile of toys. A see-through storage container can help them in getting their toys faster thereby preventing the mess. Invest in some clear bins to sort toys instead of using the typical toy box.
